Our 2024 Wrap-Up

It was a year of BIG projects for APP! We filled super large walls and big floorplans.

We love making an impact on any space but it’s really fun to work with design teams on large projects where we have the opportunity to curate different aesthetics and themes within one property. Creating art packages for a lobby is so different from that of a library or pool deck, and we love when we get to do it all in one place!

As ever, thank you to all the opportunities granted us by designers and artists. We are grateful every day for the chance to work with creatives and bring into being art packages that tell a story and evoke feelings.

Here’s to a restful end to 2024 and a vibrant beginning to 2025!


2024 HIGHLIGHTS

Developed and installed a custom mural with artist John Tindel for the rooftop pool at Southern Post in Roswell.

Braved heights with an over 20’ high installation of over 60 custom-made bird sculptures by artist Kevin Chambers for a multi-family unit in Flowery Branch, GA.

Curated, produced, and installed an art package full of local artists for the Loria Ansley, a new luxury high-rise community in Midtown Atlanta.

Developed custom and local history-focused art packages for two new hotels going up in Arlington, VA and Clemson, SC.

Developed art package for historic Morris Lapidus hotel renovation in South Beach.

Continued our work in the senior living space with another successful install at Atlanta's Lenbrook, in collaboration with THW Design. We had a go at our first ever donor wall, adding an artistic twist to it (of course) with custom-printed tiles depicting artwork from Maeve Harris.

Got back at it with one of our favorite collaborators, the Atlanta Hawks, revamping the coaches areas at their practice facility.

Organized a workshop with textile artist Hannah Ehrlich for the designers at Blur Workshop. Within the inspiring setting of Temporary Studios pop-up art show in the Old Fourth Ward, Hannah taught the designers how to create their own woven artworks.

An Atlanta native born and raised, Amy was thrilled to discuss her path towards art consulting with local publication Simply Buckhead. From her upbringing raised by a philosopher and professor, to time living abroad, Amy detailed the important milestones in her life that led to Amy Parry Projects.

Our 2023 Wrap-Up

It was a year of exploration for APP! We had the opportunity to work with numerous talented artists and are forever grateful to our clients for trusting us to beautify their spaces. We put together a record number of accessories packages and dove into the world of Senior Living art packages. We travelled a lot – Dallas, Nashville, Huntsville, Orlando, Hamburg!

As ever, I am incredibly happy to work with the super talented Sarah Davis and Leslie Lowe and I am really excited about the projects we’ve been crafting for realization in 2024. Thank you to the artists, designers, architects, builders, developers and purchasing agents who put us on the map.

2023 HIGHLIGHTS

Continued our work in the senior living space with another successful install at The Woodlands at Furman Retirement Community in Greenville, SC, in collaboration with THW Design.

Expanded our residential portfolio with a handful of projects, including one in Sandy Springs where we placed three original commissions.

Continued our amazing relationship with the Atlanta Hawks, sprucing up the offices and corridors at their practice facility.

Visited Hamburg, Germany for a site visit at the upcoming Reverb by Hard Rock Hotel.

Curated an art package full of local artists for a new luxury multi-family facility going up in Midtown Atlanta.

We got tropical with three Caribbean projects: hotels in Curacao and Bermuda, and a private residence in Turks and Caicos.

Created and installed a custom art package for The Dempsey, a multi-family unit in Madison, Alabama. 

Created Custom Commissions...

Custom Donna Mintz, Nicole Landau, and Beth Kamhi for a private residence in Sandy Springs, recently renovated by the amazing Uncommon Studios.

Our 2022 Wrap-Up

Reflecting on the year 2022, I am so very grateful to work with artists and design creatives. I love that our work involves transforming spaces, like the corridor at Mabra Law firm where Atlanta artist Peter Ferrari painted a vision of beauty and a bold statement for Justice.

I’m in awe of how we transform materials, like how local artist Taylor Means did with Novelis, where he repurposed used aluminum cans into a gorgeous Atlanta Hawks logo for State Farm Arena.

And I adore working with the ever-talented Sarah Davis, who makes accessories fit intentionally into spaces, and designs the most fabulous custom art pieces, such as the artwork she made for The Interlock in the west side of Atlanta, giving life and modernity to historic local photographs.




2022 HIGHLIGHTS


We went international!

Completed artwork for 2 new Reverb Hotels in Hamburg, Germany and Phuket, Thailand

Created a custom artwork package with Avella Design for the Curacao Courtyard Marriott

Completed our first-ever retirement community art package for the beautifully designed The Cardinal at North Hills in Raleigh, NC with THW Design.

Collaborated with C+TC Design to create a beautiful art package in a Sarasota hotel, part of the new boutique hotel line Voco, from IHG.

Created and installed our first art package for a fire station in Sandy Springs, GA.

Completed two innovative projects with the Atlanta Hawks

Art’d up 100 basketballs for a sculptural commission commemorating State Farm’s 100th Anniversary

Built a 10’ diameter sculpture of the Hawks Logo out of recycled aluminum cans

Created Custom Commissions...

A custom Jeremy Brown for The Interlock, a multi-use complex in the booming west side of Atlanta.

Added to the already impressive art collection of the Mabra Law Firm in Blandtown, including a custom Justice mural by Peter Ferrari and rubber wall sculptures by Gregor Turk.

A colossal bicycle wheel wall sculpture built by Jesse Spade for George Mason University’s off-campus housing complex The Flats in Fairfax, VA, in conjunction with Niles Bolton.

Several pieces custom created for residential clients, from artists such as Atlanta artist Janice Rago and Charleston artist Kerry Steele.

Accolades to Our Clients…

Bacán Restaurant at the Lake Nona Wave Hotel received Michelin Guide recognition.

Larson Nichols was named one of NEWH Atlanta’s top interior design firms for 2023.

Mabra Law Firm received an Award of Excellence from the Atlanta Urban Design Commission/Department of City Planning. The award honors their achievement in new construction, historic preservation, public art, and landscape design for their offices in the Blandtown neighborhood of Atlanta..
