Amy Parry | President / Art Consultant
 

Aimed with a well-rounded background from an academic upbringing, Amy Parry has successfully leapt from step to step on the way to founding Amy Parry Projects. After receiving a BA in Art History, she cut her teeth as a gallery manager for a non-profit gallery space in Atlanta, GA. She went on to help form a contemporary art museum and manage a high-end designer showroom before realizing that hospitality art consulting would be the best option for combining her love of both art and business. Gaining experience from two of the most well-known hospitality and design consultancies in Atlanta, and learning the art licensing industry from the inside out, she is currently developing Amy Parry Projects as a true boutique art consulting experience. Where larger firms tend to be exclusive with their chosen artists and vendors, APP offers a more specialized, holistic approach for each client. For projects from DC to Dubai, APP offers unique, extremely customized options, and brings in sources and sidekicks that also keep their eyes on originality. Amy’s niche is the opposite of in-house. Knowing her name is on each project, Amy is committed to quality control at every level. It’s gotta be good.

 

Lisa Thrower

Lisa Thrower | Director of Art Resources / Art Consultant
 

Candidly obsessed with both art and organization, Lisa Thrower brings a wealth of skills to her position as the Director of Resources for Amy Parry Projects. Lisa holds a BA in History/Art History and worked in collections and exhibitions at a non-profit contemporary art museum for over seven years. During that time, she cultivated working relationships with hundreds of artists, managed a permanent collection that tripled in volume and developed a resource center / archive of information related to the art of Georgia. Before joining APP, she worked as a freelance project manager and personal assistant to visual artists and arts organizations in both the US and Canada. Her background in history, archival training and photographic memory have helped her in growing a large collection of images for the APP Artist Database, which enables us to quickly find the best art for each project. Lisa understands the entire process of art-making; from conception, site-specificity and planning to documentation and preservation. She is a great liaison between client and artist and a self-proclaimed solutions girl. Though she named her dog after Paul Gauguin, 1950s American paintings are what really get her going.

Catharine Auger | Creative Director / Art Consultant


After receiving her BA in Art History / Painting, Catharine Auger (pronounced "O-Jay") began her career working for a number of prestigious Women’s Fashion Magazines in New York City. Later, upon moving to Atlanta, she transitioned her wealth of knowledge and terrific eye for art and design to working within the Hospitality Art Consulting industry. Catharine now boasts over ten years experience curating art packages for 4 and 5 star hotels, as well as mid-range and select service properties. With a vast network of resources, Catharine brings creative options together for the most cohesive, inspired package for each project. Boutique hotels working with APP will notice that each package tells a story and this comes directly from Catharine's expertise. As our Creative Director, Catharine serves as liaison between APP and our clients, ensuring the highest quality outcome and maximum happiness every time. Simply put, she's one of the best in the biz.

Laura Liatis | Project Manager
 

Laura Liatis grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and at 18 years old headed off to Los Angeles to pursue a life in the arts. After a brief stint in the School of Fine Arts at the University of Southern California, she realized that unfortunately she was probably not cut out to be a full-time artist.  Instead, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the prestigious Entrepreneurship Program in the Marshall School of Business at the USC, and then went on to build a career in art consulting and creative business management. With over two decades of experience working with all kinds of creatives, from struggling artists to world-famous icons in their fields, Laura helped working creatives to create structure and methods to build their business, implement marketing and other strategic plans to grow their business, and to achieve long term goals which enabled them to create viable careers in the arts. As the Project Manager for Amy Parry Projects, Laura will obsessively ensure that your custom art packages arrive as specified, on time and within budget. In general, you can find Laura reading at all hours of the night, listening to LPs, advocating for foster care, and wearing flip flops at seasonably inappropriate times.
