Case Study #15 | Ronen Azulay for Lumio Pompano Beach

For our new project at the upscale residences Lumio Pompano Beach, located just outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida, we sought to develop a signature artwork inspired by the area’s famed harness racing history. Rather than a literal interpretation, the concept takes a material-driven approach, using leather as a subtle nod to the bridles and harnesses central to the sport. We tapped New York–based artist Ronen Azulay for the commission, whose practice transforms repurposed textiles into layered works that explore identity, consumption, and cultural memory.
